The long and physically demanding route to Mareiter Stein impresses with an outstanding flora.
Starting from Pardaun / Platzhof. (Parking in Pardaun. No possibility at Platzhof!) Out of the farm to the left, initially a wide path, no. 25a, which at the beginning of the mountain forest leads into a narrow, relatively steep trail up to the forest border. Then with wonderful panoramic views along the wide, grassy ridge of the mountain, covered with many flowers, up to the large summit plateau with summit cross. After crossing the summit plateau, there is a descent down into the Ratsching valley: Immediately below the summit peak, path no. 14 branches off to the left, leading down steep switchbacks into the Ratsching valley and ends a short distance after the parking lots of the lift station. On the valley trail of Ratschings back to Pardaun.
