From Altendorf or the Ostrauer Mill into the rocky world of the Schrammsteine and Affensteine.
From the campsite at the Ostrauer Mill, the Ostrauer Mühlweg leads us to the heights, further over the construction path and the Elbleitenweg we reach the large Schrammtor. We follow the "M" on the promenade path to the Wildschützensteig. Here we briefly leave our "M". The Wildschützensteig takes us steeply uphill to the Schrammsteinaussicht. The Schrammsteinaussicht is one of the highlights of the Malerweg. 360° view at its finest. The deep view into the Elbe valley is impressive.Marked with a blue stripe, we continue, now following the "M" again. With constant ups and downs, we come via the Zurückesteig to the Kleiner Dom. The steep descent ends at Zeughausweg. With "M" we reach the Beuthenfall via the Affensteinweg. A short stretch of road and we stand before the Lichtenhainer Waterfall. The Lichtenhainer Waterfall, with its historic buildings and the final stop of the Kirnitzschtalbahn (since 1898), is a sight of the rear Saxon Switzerland. One should not linger too long here at
