Rarely visited hummocky terrains with a distinctive charm
Between the two famous fashion peaks Aggenstein and Rote Flüh, a few mountain peaks and ridges that are seldom visited even in summer gather in a horseshoe shape. Who climbs a Seichenkopf or a Lumberger ridge? The two neighbors Sebenspitze and Sefenspitze, whose names sound confusingly similar, are the ones most likely to receive visitors. It is even lonelier up there above the icy valley basin of Lake Halden, however, when the rugged fellows have folded their white fur collars. Hibernation—in the truest sense of the word. There, you leave the road, paying attention to the sign «Sebenalpe», straight ahead into a narrow, moderately steep clearing. This shortcut soon crosses the known forest road again. The slope soon levels off.
