    Roadbook

Start at the tourist information center on the Loreley Plateau. From here, walk across the parking lot through the exit gate and on the opposite side of the street you will see a barrel bottom with the inscription Wine Educational Path set up by the Loreley wine cooperative. Follow this path (also the Rheinsteig). After a short time, you will reach the Loreley-Edel vineyard. Along the path, 20 panels provide information about steep-slope viticulture, the different grape varieties, and the work of the vintners in the vineyard.

The paved path leads to Abraham's Spring. From here, follow the Rheinsteig to the viewpoint Spitznack. The viewing pavilion (located to the right) offers the hiker a magnificent view of the Loreley and the narrow Rhine Valley. Nearby is the Leiselfeld with a rest station. Continue on the Rheinsteig to a fork in the path. Here you take the paved path further, leaving the Rheinsteig, which branches off to the right towards Bornich and Kaub. After reaching the winding asphalt road at the hill, you walk parallel to the main road on the hiking path back to the Loreley.
