Falaises d’Armor
The Faouët takes its name from the Breton word 'Faou »designating a place planted beech.
According to legend, these trees once covered the entire territory of the commune. Another legend says that Saint Hervé, blind saint patron of the town, would have thrown a granite ball from the top of Menez Bra. It would have fallen on the other side of the valley Poul Jaudour by a spring gush it.
It is claimed that this water with beneficial properties brings relief to people suffering from eye.
