Leave the village of Laghetti di Egna towards the slopes of Mount Madrutta. Reach the Banklweg trail, which ascends steeply up the mountain slope with a final steep climb through a gully opening into the Anguilla Valley. After the initial sloping trail section, the path becomes a dirt road that climbs to houses in the Paradiso area. From here a paved section leads to the road to Cauria, which you follow downhill to the Sotto Sasso area. From here the Sailbahnweg forest road reaches the remains of an old cable car that transported wood to the valley. Then, find a trail behind the cable car area that descends steeply to the Bergerhof area, from where you continue descending to a picturesque bridge, returning to Laghetti via the Duhrer trail.

Author’s recommendation
The area isn't very well-known but has several information signs. The Duhrer trail, wolf hunting, lime production, and a medieval bridge. It's wonderful to combine effort with culture.
