The small fishing harbor of Lörudden, with its red huts, fishing boats, and hidden corners, is an attractive starting point for this short hike. The trip reveals various coastal formations such as rocky shores, boulder coast, and beach ridges as well as – as the cherry on top – a small sandy beach that, given suitable weather and acceptable water temperatures, is even suitable for swimming. Depending on wind strength and direction, more or less surf can be expected there.
We start from the parking lot in Lörudden on the arrival path and turn about 50 m behind the last house at a transmission facility on the right side to the right onto a flat rock slab, at the northern end of which a small forest path begins, winding through spruce and pine forest. It takes us down to the northern rocky coast, which we can explore at our leisure. Afterwards, we continue the path to the right, where it becomes a narrow road. On this road, we walk past holiday cottages to the small harbor of Lörudden, which invites you to linger with its red huts, fishing boats, and charming details. From there, we walk back on the road toward the parking lot and take – opposite the entrance to the parking lot – the narrow field path to the left (signpost "Lörans Kapell"), follow it straight at a fork (do not turn off to the chapel), and reach the shore, which here appears wild and full of boulders, while our path pleasantly runs over meadows and through the forest and – except for a few

Sabine Gilcher, Jahrgang 1962, wuchs im bayerischen Alpenvorland auf, mit einem Hochmoor direkt vor der Haustür, den Osterseen gleich um die Ecke und den Bergen immer in Sichtweite. Die Liebe zur Natur wurde daher früh geweckt und später im Studium der Landespflege vertieft. Heute lebt sie als Landschaftsplanerin in Freiburg im Breisgau. Ein Aufenthalt als Erntehelferin auf einem Bauernhof in Norwegen weckte die Liebe zu Skandinavien. Seit mehr als 30 Jahren bereist sie Europas Norden und Nordwesten und lässt sich jedes Mal von Neuem von den dortigen Landschaften faszinieren. Ihre Hobbys Wandern und Fotografieren sind die ideale Kombination zum Erstellen der Wanderführer für den Rother Bergverlag und das Wissen um ökologische Zusammenhänge kommt ihr sowohl im Gelände als auch beim Verfassen der Wanderführer sehr zustatten.
