The start of this route is at the Roman watchtower below the Kalmit. It is accessible by line bus 503 from Neustadt and leads on PWV trails with lots of nature and historical sites plus five Rittersteine to Neustadt. Via the Totenkopf hut of the PWV local group Maikammer-Alsterweiler it continues to the Hellerhütte. This is operated by the PWV local group Neustadt. At these two huts there are a total of three Rittersteine. The Liselottesteig starts directly behind the Hellerhütte, where a narrow path leads over the Giebelstein to the small plain. It then continues a short way uphill again over the Königsberg to Ritterstein No. 252 (ring wall) and always following the yellow dot to the station in Neustadt.
