The hike runs through the district of Lindenau, first mentioned in documents in 1192, past numerous ponds and the Technical Museum "Siebenschlehener Pochwerk". Through forest, across meadows and fields, along the UNESCO World Heritage objects of the Schneeberg mining landscape of the UNESCO World Heritage Montanregion Erzgebirge/Krušnohoří. Hikers with different interests will not be disappointed here and can enjoy both cultural and natural landscapes. The highlight is the Fundgrube Gesellschaft, with a fascinating view and a miniature model of our Schneeberg-Neustädtel mining district. The Siebenschlehener Pochwerk with Knappschaft pond and Silver smelting hut St. Georgen also forms a unique area in the mining landscape.

The circular route leads down the access road to Forstteich, along the Stockteich – the oldest Lindenau pond – to the large parking lot clockwise. At the edge of the forest you reach a rest area with a fantastic view.

Then the path leads downhill through weekend properties to the lower Lindenau pond, through the Lindenau valley and to the Knappschaft pond. Arriving at Forststraße, on the right side is the Silver smelting hut St. Georgen and the Technical Museum "Siebenschlehener Pochwerk". Follow the educational trail through the Schneeberg-Neustädtel mining landscape to the Fundgrube Gesellschaft. A visit to the miniature model of our mining area is recommended. Afterwards, leave the educational trail towards the headframes of the Fundgruben Gebhardt and Michaelismaßen and see the powder tower belonging to the Fundgrube Gesellschaft on the left side.

You follow the yellow marking again through a woodland area and reach a farm track. This extends through forest, meadows, and fields embedding Lindenau. Keeping right, you now go downhill through the Rautenkranz residential area to Dorfstraße. About 100 m after the Waldstraße junction, the path continues to the right. A meadow path then leads you back to the starting point.
