Lechfall round trip

From the Walderlebniszentrum parking lot, head along the Lech directly to the Lechfall, then away from the tourist hustle and bustle up into the forest past the old ski jump hill via a serpentine-like path down towards Austria. On the way, a cave and the riverbed of the Lech provide welcome variety for the children. Afterwards, there is a somewhat steep ascent and a cable-secured descent that is exciting. At the fork in the road, you could take a detour of about 1 hour to the Altasee, but we went right towards Obersee where you can cool off in the paid swimming pool or the free Kneipp basin. Then a snack or coffee in the forest tavern and then you can set off strengthened on the uphill path through the forest back towards the parking lot.
