This circular hike leads from Untermarchtal, Baden-Württemberg's community with the highest average age due to the motherhouse of the Sisters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, to the first hills of the Swabian Alb, through the Wolfstal, the Lautertal and the Danube valley.
From Untermarchtal railroad station, we turn left to Munderkinger Straße, the main road through the village, cross it and continue along Bergstraße opposite. After a good 100 m, we turn right into Haldenstraße and follow Ww. Mundingen, Mochental. The path is marked with a blue diamond. We go straight ahead, then turn right into Bergstraße, cross the main road after just under 15 minutes (the lime kiln museum is located in an old lime kiln on our right) and just under 5 minutes later the country road. After 150 m, we keep left at a fork and reach a high seat in a strip of bushes after just under 5 minutes. A path leads downhill to the right of the raised hide. However, you can also bypass the bush strip on the right. Our next destination is a second high seat, which we can see in the distance ahead of us.
