This short walk leads over field paths first in front of the guesthouse Pension Schlömer to the Juniper Hut. It continues on to the Wabelsberg with the widely known juniper heath. Here, not only is there the view of wild junipers in contrast to partly bizarrely shaped pine trees but also a fantastic panoramic view over Langscheid deep into the Vorder Eifel. Behind the impressive oak with a nice resting place, the farm road leads us back to the starting point, at the lime tree on the village square "Fusse Koch".
The circular hike is highly recommended in both directions.
