The Lago Delio and Monte Borgna loop is located in the border region of Lombardy near Lake Maggiore. We start the route at the parking lot in Bassano. It first runs past the village towards the forest and shore and climbs southwards to Monte Borgna, which reaches around 1158 meters. The surrounding area is characterized by remote, peaceful landscapes, wooded slopes and small settlements such as Tronzano Lago Maggiore. It is a classic hiking area with partly natural paths, few buildings and rest stops. In addition to Lago Delio as an artificially dammed lake, Monte Borgna is a striking high point. Old remains of walls and stone paths indicate that the area was once used by alpine farmers. From the ridge, the view extends as far as the Valle Veddasca and the Alpine chain in the background. The hiking trail is marked throughout and presents no technical difficulties. The route is around 8.5 kilometers long and leads from the riverside path via mountain hiking trails and small roads back
