Effortless hiking without much time and effort is abundantly offered by the undulating high plateau of the Postalm with its easily accessible lookout summits. Primarily, the centrally located Labenberg is suitable, which can be reached from the lower Postalm parking lot in just under two hours and offers a comprehensive panoramic view including a view of Dachstein. The return trip goes via the picturesque Pitscherbergalm, where you can indulgently enjoy hearty local delicacies.
From the lower Postalm parking lot P1, pass the Lienbachhof restaurant on the left, westwards gently uphill on the "Almblumenweg" (signs) to the right junction of the circular trails R1 and R2 and with these to the Rosser hut, 1212 m. Continue 100 m further on natural road to cross road at forest edge. Turn left onto this to another road and keep right on it (trail no. 150, circular trail R2), along the edge of the Lienbachalm, up a forest ravine to the west, to the road junction. Over the pastures to the left (south) up to the next junction and straight on to the Labenbergalm-Lienbach hut, 1431 m. Return to the last junction and turn left (south) with trail no. 150 uphill to the alpine huts. Left on designated trail (no. 150) across the grassy northeast slope, past a spring to a shoulder on the east ridge. Up this to the summit of Labenberg, 1642 m. Back down to the Labenbergalm and further to the mentioned road junction. Follow the driveway straight uphill over meadows to the right
