The La Transllena route runs through the municipalities of La Pobla de Cérvoles and El Vilosell. It leads into the Serra de la Llena mountain range and from there offers a magnificent view of the Serra del Montsant and a large part of the Les Garrigues county.
The Transllena route is a moderately difficult and permanently marked route with a total length of 13 km and a positive elevation gain of 504 m. The approximate walking time is between 3 and 4 hours. You need to be well prepared.
During the walk, we come across the hermitage Sant Miquel de la Tosca and also the 7 fountains, the source of the Set river. The route continues along the Serra de Llena: Coll de l'Abellar and Penya alta (1009 m), Coll de les Marradetes, Punta del Marc, and already on the plain next to the vineyards, we can visit the remains of the castle and from there we come to La Pobla.

The La Transllena route begins in La Pobla de Cérvoles and leads upwards towards the Serra de la Llena. From Punta Castanyola, the Montsant mountain range can be seen. Already on the ridge of the Serra de la Llena, it goes over the pass of Cova del Quelo. Then you reach the pass Coll de les Marradetes, where there is the option to descend to Pobla de Cérvoles without finishing the route (2.8 km). Those who go straight ahead come over Punta de l’Ossona and from there La Pobla de Cérvoles and El Vilosell can be seen. To the left is the path to Vilanova de Prades and after about 300 m, you reach the highest point of Les Garrigues, the summit La Cogulla at 1,029 m.
On the right side, there is a large climbing area. Then follow steep descents to the hermitage Sant Miquel de la Tosca, where the origin of the Set river with its 7 springs is located. From here, you can start the route at the Set river. From Sant Miquel de la Tosca, it goes downhill on the right side of the Set to Vall d’en Peret. From here, another narrow path leads to the end of the valley, where the farmhouse Más d’en Peret can be seen. The path leads to the end of La Pobla de Cérvoles.
