This route connects two beaches on the wetstern part of the island with the ancient city of Kythnos also known as Vryokastro. Despite the views, Its condition is poor.
A route with steep slopes and paths with difficult footing, either due to vegetation or stones. It joins the beach of Episkopi, with the ancient city of Kythnos, or Vryokastro, and finally reaches the beach of Apokrousi. As the altitude increases and the route approaches Vryokastro, the paths become less visible, and in some cases their trace is completely lost. Route 6A is partially marked, but it is not enough for the safe and carefree conduct of the route. Due to the high altitudes and its proximity to the sea, route 6A has to offer some of the best views of the island.
