Over the strategic pass at the eastern end of the Orla Perć

In addition to the magnificent view of the Five Lakes Valley and the entire High Tatras, the Krzyżne (Cross Pass, Cross Saddle) plays a major role for hikers as a crossing point between Schronisko Pięć Stawów and Schronisko Murowaniec or vice versa (same total walking time). It is also an important point on the descent from the Orla Perć. The continuation of the Orla Perć trail via Wołoszyn to Polana pod Woloszynem was officially closed as early as 1932. On the south side lies the Buczynowa Dolinka, a classic high valley once shaped by glaciers; on the north side is the Dolina Pańszczyca high valley with the romantically situated Czerwony Stawek (Red Lake).

as on Tour 42, over the Przełęcz między Kopami Pass and through the Jaworzynka Valley down to Kuźnice.
