Knöpflesbrunnen, 1124 m, via the Hasbacher Höhe
On a south-facing branch of the main Black Forest ridge between Feldberg and Belchen, the summit of Knöpflesbrunnen, 1124 m, forms the southernmost peak like an eagle's nest above the Wiesental valley. While the main hiking trail follows the sharp ridge line from Notschrei to Wiedener Eck, the meadows and forests near the Almgasthof seem almost sweetly dreamy. More challenging than the hike itself is the approach to the hiking parking lot on a steep forest road in places.
