Circular hike with Bothmer Baroque Castle

Klütz, the main town of the Klützer Winkel office, is widely visible with its 56-meter-high church tower called "Red Bishop's Mitre." At this religious center begins the circular hike to a secular architectural highlight: Bothmer Castle, one of the largest Baroque palace complexes in northern Germany. A stork shot on this estate in 1822 with an African arrow in its neck became famous in zoological books as proof of bird migration.
