The ascent to Klin is among the most sought-after, mainly due to its varied terrain and amazing panoramic views of the entire region, as well as the unique Račkové plesá, along which a path passes. Klin is the 5th highest peak in the Western Tatras and lies on their main ridge. It offers great panoramic views.
The Račkova valley is one of the most frequently visited valleys in Liptov. It attracts tourists also because of the Museum of the Liptov Village, which is located beyond the village of Pribylina, right by the main road and the turnoff to the valley. Higher up in the valley, there is the popular Račkova valley campsite and several mountain hotels/guesthouses. The dominant feature of the Račkova valley is Klin, a peak with an altitude of 2173 meters above sea level.

Tips and suggestions
The route can be slightly extended by adding a visit to the peak Bystrá (2248 meters above sea level).
Roadbook
The route starts with a comfortable wide road, which with a gentle ascent leads you to the junction of the Račkova and Jamnická valleys. Then follows a steep serpentine climb leading to a forest path. After the forest zone comes the area of mountain pines, where beautiful views open up. On the left side, the Jamnická valley appears, behind which towers Baranec. On the right side is the Račkova valley with Bystrá. The route is partly circular because when you reach the Pod Klin junction, you can choose which side (via Gáborovo or Račkovo saddle) you will take towards Klin (2173 meters above sea level).
