Klamml circular route

From the Vögeialm at the valley end of the Forstau valley, it goes right across the flat valley floor via hiking trail no. 769 to the ascent through the Klamml. The alpine flora shows itself here at its best – along the shores of small lakes and rushing streams you will find numerous rare flowers and plants and whole fields of fragrant alpine rose. Halfway to the summit lies a magical small mountain lake in the Klammlkar, inviting you to take a short break before your path continues directly to the Seekarscharte (2,022 m). Here begins a relaxing high-altitude hike along hiking trail no. 702 with only gentle ascents and descents. At the Oberhüttensattel, you turn left and hike along the Oberhüttensee shore to Oberhütte (1,860 m). From Oberhütte, it goes back along the Oberhüttenbach to Vögeialm. Here you can decide whether you want to take the descent via the cozy forest road (a bit longer) or the steeper hiking trail no. 36 on the left. This trail leads over the "Fairy Meadow" with its numerous globe flowers, which are in full bloom at the end of June. Shortly before the Vögeialm, you can still admire the mighty hollowed trunks of old maple trees before you return full of unforgettable impressions to your starting point.
