Klamaruša

From Grižane we go up by the southern approach path direcly to the Grižane castle. After exploring it, we copntinue northwards by a comfortable path to Belgrad and to the old church of Mary of the Snows. Then we continue almost to the hamlet of Baretići, just before it we turn sharp right and start climbing up by the famous Rock Steps Trail. After half of the climb, make sure to deter left - towards the two caves, named Karlova peć. They are different, so make sure to visit both - it's only a matter of minutes. After returning to the trails branching, continue ep, until reaching the top of rock walls. There turn right and continue by the beautiful Ledges Trail (Staza litica). After a few minutes, don't miss the summit of Klamaruša on the right, it's a very nice viewpoint. Then continue along the cliff edges all the way towards the south. Only after passing above the Grižane, on 481 m, continue to the right and start descending. A comfortable path will bring you just down into the village.
