We start our route in Schmelz, southwest of Inzell, and follow the road southward. After just a few meters, the surface changes from asphalt to gravel, and we reach the first highlight of the route. At the adventure playground on the Schmelzerbach, you can dig and bake to your heart's content.
Then we continue along the path through the impressive landscape of the Wildenmoos water protection area. After two kilometers, upon reaching Zwing, we use the underpass to cross the federal road and turn left at the end of the path. Before meeting the federal road again, we keep right and follow the natural trail through the woodland.
Past the Zwingsee, we turn left and see the ice stadium. Those who wish may take time here for a worthwhile tour of the impressive architecture of the Max Aicher Arena. Along the federal road, the path then leads northwards to Sulzbacher Straße. We turn left onto this and follow it for about one kilometer.
We turn left again and let the breathtaking view of the Kienberg sink in. Continuing via Kienau along the path, we return to our starting point in Schmelz.
