    Roadbook

At the Alte Buchen parking lot, we cross the L15 and head northwest on the ridge trail in a large left curve back to the L15. We cross the road and take the path that runs parallel to the L15 to the Kermeter Paulushof parking lot. The path continues south of the ridge trail and rejoins it after about 200 meters. On the ridge trail, turn left and follow it westward to the large six-way intersection (with stone and benches). Here, turn left along the ridge trail into the Friedenbach valley. We follow the valley downward until a path branches right, leading us parallel to the Obersee up to the ridge opposite Rurberg. Here we turn right uphill to Honiberg and then straight ahead along the ridge trail to Hirschley (nice view).

From Hirschley, take a right arc back to the six-way intersection. Turn right here, and after about 50 meters, a path branches left downhill to the Urft dam. When you reach the dam, it's worth a visit and a stop at the cafe, which is open on weekends.

Continue east along the Urftsee shore trail (K7). This soon leaves the shore and climbs through the Haftenbach valley. After 150 meters, our path sharply turns right, leading us back to the starting point via Dörnchesdell and Fuchssiefen.
