Kellersee Loop Trail
Holsteinische Schweiz
Only a short section of about one kilometer runs along a parallel bike path next to the road. There is also a lake cruise dock located directly along the route.
Along the way, various sights and attractions invite you to take a break. These include the observation deck of the former “Holsteinische Schweiz” hotel, the lake sculpture near Fissau, the Boldt Gallery, and the historic fishery at Kellersee. A special attraction is the former film set of the famous “Immenhof,” which is now used as the Hotel Gut Immenhof. Families and nature lovers can also discover the “WunderweltWasser”—an interactive space that vividly illustrates the many facets of water.
The hiking route is part of the Holsteinische Schweiz stamp collection network. Hikers who collect stamps along the way and can show proof of visiting at least five stations will receive a hiking pin at the tourist information offices in Plön, Eutin, or Malente.
