Kappelrodeck Elevation Route (official route)

The Kappelrodeck Elevation Route starts at Kappelrodeck Station. At the location Venedig, you first follow the ORtenauer Weinpfad diamond trail to Steinebach and then the yellow diamond up to Blosenkopf. Here your climbing efforts are rewarded with a magnificent view of the Rhine Valley all the way to Strasbourg. Continuing to follow the signs, you reach the location „Auf der Eck“ and then hike further over "Wolfersberg" up to the "Hagenberg". This lovingly designed rest area with refreshments invites you to linger. Enjoy the wonderful panoramic view. Via the "Schönbüch" you reach the "Blockhütte". From here, the path leads downwards to the "Iberg", past the Zefererhof with a small game enclosure. At the Simmehof, a Regiomat with refreshments awaits before you continue over the "Langenberg" to the shooting house and back to the town center. Along the main road, you reach the station again via Kappelrodeck's „Venedig“.
