We start at the Kurhaus Oberstaufen and follow the signs for the "Kapfrunde" to the left. Behind a small bridge, our route leads through a residential area and then reaches Argenstraße. We continue north on the asphalt road until we turn left onto a gravel path. Now the path steadily ascends slightly. At a solitary farm, we turn right towards Saneberg until a fork in the path, keep left, and reach the forest edge. From there, we continue hiking to the Berg district. Here we can try the exercises on the exercise board.
To the left, we finally reach the Café Paradies on the namesake ridge. The "Paradies" is known for its excellent view – and also as one of the highest points on the German Alpine Road at over 1000 m. Following the signpost "Willis/Stießberg," you reach the path to Oberstaufen. A detour to the Hotel Bergkristall below is also worthwhile for a short rest. At the entrance to Oberstaufen, behind the Hotel Allgäu Sonne, we turn left and after some time reach the Kneipp facility above the Kurhaus. To conclude this scenic route, a detour to the town center of Oberstaufen with its many cafés, restaurants, and partly exclusive shops is certainly recommended.
