Beautiful circular hiking route through Euscheid, along the Enz Cycle Path past the "Tree ABC" and along the Euscheid ponds
This circular hike offers beautiful distant views, interesting insights into a very original "farm museum" and also educational information along the "Tree ABC" on the Enz Cycle Path. From A for Apple tree to Z for plum, trees have been planted here along the path in alphabetical order by the Euscheid village community.

Roadbook
From the sports field, go straight out of the village towards the Enz Cycle Path. Upon reaching the cycle path, turn right (direction Üttfeld). A few meters later, the "Tree ABC" begins. Follow this educational trail along the cycle path until the end and at the first opportunity turn left to the Euscheid ponds. Via a forest path, passing the two ponds, then turn left onto an asphalted farm road through a tunnel under the cycle path. Follow this road back to the village, then turn left at the junction, passing the Peter Schmitz farm museum back to the starting point.
Public transport
There is no direct train connection. The nearest train station is in Gerolstein.
