The bus stop on the former Gardesana state road in Cadine is the starting point of this tour, an easy hike with some strenuous sections (but not too many) that is not recommended in high summer due to its course on an asphalt road and under the sun. High altitudes are not reached, but you can enjoy equally beautiful panoramas, both in the forest and by the lake.
Cross the street in front of the Stube del Galletto (adjacent residence), enter the city (Via della Posta) and go through Via al Capitel just behind the fountain to Piazza della Chiesa. Comparing the different entrances, you are still reminded of the noble origins of some houses and you can see the interior courtyards, which in many cases are surrounded by a lot of greenery. On the way, you come across another fountain on which the year of construction (1883) can be seen. A few more steps and you reach the Capitella del Crocefisso, where you take the road on the right. On grassy ground, the path leads to Baselga del Bondone. Continue for a few minutes along this road, which until a few years ago was undoubtedly the only link between Cadine and nearby Pieve. At the junction with the asphalt road (560 m, 15‘), turn left towards Sopramonte.
