Imbergrunde

From the Imbergbahn parking lot, the route initially passes the mountain inn "Auwinkel" and continues via the "Imbergalpe" to the mountain station. An alternative is the cable car ride up or a detour to the Imberg summit cross. From the mountain station, it goes southwards to the "Remmelegg" alp. The descent takes place on a forest path until the road at "Lanzenbach" is finally reached. This is crossed, and the path leads downstream towards the "Tarzansteg". After crossing the Weißach, it goes steeply uphill through a forested area towards the "Neugschwend" alp. Then follow the signs to the "forest nature trail/Christl-Cranz-Weg" and return on this path to the mountain village of Steibis. From here it goes back to the Imbergbahn parking lot.

During the hike, there are beautiful views of Steibis and Oberstaufen as well as the Nagelfluh chain.
