Drive by car or bus to the parking lot. With the gondola, you float up to 1200m, where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the mountain landscape. The Hochgrat with its impressive formation shapes our region. You now follow the signs to "Alpe Glutschwanden." A stop there is worthwhile. Continue towards "Hörmoos," over the "Hochhädrich Moor," which is cross-border. Here you will also find the highest distillery in the Allgäu. It is also worth staying here. Past Hörmoossee, head towards “Schneeloch” and "Falkenhütte." At the fork, turn left downhill into Schneeloch, and continue the hike to the fork at “Oberstiegalpe.” Hold left before the signpost. Over a meadow path past an uninhabited hut, a short stretch on the forest road and sharply left onto a forest path, it goes uphill a bit again to the Schneeloch stop. Then continue along the road. From here, the “Alpe Hochbühl” is already visible. Return to the valley with the gondola.
