Shortly on the forest path to the turnstile. Behind it, an unmarked hiking trail leads around the lake. At a few points, you can reach the shore directly. The pristine lake is not a bathing lake!

From the starting point, we hike following the signpost "Huckinger See" along a forest road to the junction. Here, there is a turnstile on the right. Behind it, a drag path leads northwards; shortly, you can reach the west shore of the lake on the right (small, open natural spot with a tree trunk as a bench right by the shore). We follow an unmarked path, shortly after the previous drag path around the north shore. At a fork, turn right, then over the bridge of the outflow and immediately right again on the unmarked hiking trail along the east shore. Passing a wayside shrine, a tree trunk to rest on, and a romantic small peninsula, we reach the jetty that leads through the marsh around the small boathouse. Along the south shore, we reach the turnstile with a final view over the lake. On the approach back to the starting point.
