Roadbook
From the Hornberg railway crossing, we follow Franz-Schiele-Straße through the residential area to a sharp right bend. There we go straight ahead into Schmiedeacker, which leads us to a hiking trail. Via the Schachen, we reach the Windeckfelsen and the Windeck hut via a serpentine path. We continue along this path to the Immelsbacher Höhe rest area.
Via Palmdobel, we now reach the Gesundbrunnen parking lot. Shortly after Gesundbrunnen, we leave the forest road to the left and come via a narrow hiking trail to Wilhelm-Hausenstein-Straße. We follow this briefly to the left before following a narrow connecting path into Buchenbronn. From there, we return to the starting point, the railway crossing.

Directions
From the south: Before the tunnel, turn right toward Hornberg. Follow Werderstraße to the next possible right exit. Then follow the L108 to the railway crossing on the right.
From the north: Before the tunnel, turn left toward Hornberg. In the town center, turn left at the town hall. Follow Bahnhofstraße until just before the viaduct, then turn right. Follow the road to the railway crossing on the left.
