Holzberg Tower Loop Trail

The tour begins at the train station in downtown Malente and follows a mostly hilly route through the fields and wooded areas of Holstein Switzerland. Among the first stops are the Malente Wildlife Park, where you can encounter free-roaming wildlife, and the “Spring of Broken Hearts.”

The trail then continues through Timmendorf and past the Radlandsichten farm through Neversfelde toward the Holzberg Tower. From there, you’ll enjoy a sweeping panoramic view of the Holstein Switzerland landscape. Please note that the tower is now accessible via a short side path.

The return route passes the stone labyrinth and leads through the wildlife park grounds back to the center of Malente. Some sections run along roads.
