From Stelzergraben via the Emil-Zöchling-Steig to the summit of Hohenstein (1,195 m).
A beautiful forest path that repeatedly leads over meadows and pastures and offers wonderful views into the Traisen and Pielach valleys.

From the "Stelzergraben" parking lot we follow the marking towards Hohenstein via the "Egon-Zöchling-Steig" - initially uphill over a pasture.
The path leads us well marked through the forest and repeatedly over clearings to the Engleitensattel.
From there on narrow trails to a crossroads (see photo).
To the right towards Hohenstein - then it is only about 25 minutes to the summit.
Return the same way to the crossroads, but there we turn towards Eisenstein.
We follow the marking along the forest road, since in summer 2020 the path over the Anestberg was closed or rerouted (see photo).
Attention at the first "forest road junction", there a smiley on the tree (see photo) points to the hidden entry from the forest road to the forest path to the Gscheid saddle.
There we choose the descending path towards Türnitz 1 3/4 hours, to return to the starting point via forest roads and narrow streets.
