The hike begins on the Bergstraße, from which a forest road branches off straight ahead at a left curve. Follow this and continue unmarked at the right curve until a narrow path. Follow this path shortly to a clearly ascending trail branching sharply to the left. Climb the unmarked trail up to a forest road where a yellow sign points to the Wagnersteig. The marked Wagnersteig is rated difficulty A (secured climbing path). In the upper section, ladders and safety cables lead up to the plateau. From there, go left with a gentle ascent to Plackles. From Plackles follow the markings down to the Scheimhütte (rest cross) and from there up to the Gländ. From the Gländhütte we took the same way down again to the rest cross and then right down a forest road to the parking lot. At the parking lot curve, a fairly flat path branches off to the left at the information board. Follow this path up to the asphalt road and from there continue to Seiser Toni. The flat forest path leads to a green-marked trail that goes back down to the Bergstraße.
