Roadbook
From the Höbersdorf train station, walk along the railway line back towards Sierndorf. After 1.8 km, we see the tower of the Sierndorf warehouse far to our right. We cross the country road and continue straight ahead to the right of the railway tracks.
After about 200 m, a forest path branches off to the left, which we follow. After the forest section, we cross fields and at the next fork in the road take the path that leads diagonally right. At the Antoni-Marterl (resting place), we cross the L29 and at the next fork take the right path. The forest path leads us further through a small woodland, at the end of which we can glimpse the northernmost silhouette of Stockerau. We always continue straight on the path until the fork with seating and memorial candles by a cross. After this rest, we continue slightly uphill on the left path, past a high Marterl, until we reach Erstbrunnerstrasse, which we cross and take the footpath downwards between the apartment blocks. Shortly, we go through the settlement on Ingenieur-Hans-Petschauer-Straße, at the end of which we cross the bridge over the Senningbach. After the bridge, we go right along the Senningbach to the crossing of Wiener Straße at the roundabout (cross straight over). A narrow path through the green strip shows us the entrance to the path along the Senningbach. At the bike path, we cross the Senningbach and follow the bike path under the railway. Before we take the motorway underpass, we make an almost 180-degree turn to the right and follow the path to the tennis court. Immediately afterwards, before the first houses, we turn left and walk along private garden fences up to the motorway embankment. Then along the street and after about 200 m there is a footpath up onto the noise barrier. At the top of the barrier, we walk to its end and have already arrived at Stockerau station.
