    Roadbook

The route starts at the outdoor pool, and after just a few minutes, the first ascent follows. Above a wild brook, it continues into the forest to a secluded forest lake called "Herberloch", an old quarry that has developed into a natural biotope over the years. Over a dam and a small staircase, we reach a path running parallel to the slope. Through paths and forest roads, the route continues until we encounter the "Wahnbach Valley". Through the wild romantic stream valley with its lively babbling brook, it goes over roots and stones through a unique natural setting.

The Wahnbach is crossed via a large bridge, and at the "Behlengraben", a prehistoric gorge from the last Ice Age, it becomes really steep. At the steeply descending edge of the gorge, the route climbs meter by meter up the forested slope to a large trail junction. From here, continue straight ahead back into the forest and descend over naturally grown forest ground into the "Schlittenbach Valley".

After the last crossing of the stream, the path exits the forest. Passing the campsite, the route leads over meadowland to a 5-meter-long bench with a view over the spa town of Weiskirchen. Once again, it goes past the former school hostel into the forest and down switchbacks to the main path, which leads back to the parking lot of the Weiskirchen Natural Outdoor Pool.
