This hiking trail leads along the "Wasp Waist" of the old country on historic paths. It was marked as an expression of good neighborliness between Baden and Württemberg. The path, lined with numerous border stones, begins in Michelbach, at the recreational area "Gumbe." The route goes via the Upper Münzbergweg and the Bernbach climb to the Wasenhütte. For the shorter variant, you turn off to Moosbronn. The large circle leads from the Wasenhütte over the Bernstein rock, from which an impressive panoramic view opens onto the Murg valley, to the Mauzenstein and further on to Moosbronn and Bernbach. Along the way, 25 panels provide information about the landscape and history of the named places. Information boxes are located at the churches in Michelbach, Moosbronn and Bernbach.
Thanks to marked access paths, the border trail allows a variety of variations.
