The Hirschgeweihweg is a 17 km long circular hiking route through the Böhmetal. Near Küddelse, there is the possibility to shorten the route. It mostly follows the Freudenthalweg in the north and the Jakobusweg Lüneburger Heide in the south.

The route is marked by a red deer head. Over the years, the trail has changed slightly several times. On hiking maps, the route is shown with slight variations.

In 2021, the wooden boardwalk was renewed, so the path is fully passable again.
