A beautiful tour of vineyards nestled among forests, offering a magnificent view of the southern Kraichgau
From the starting point at the Hammerau parking lot, we follow the gently ascending forest trails, cross the county road between Weiler and Waldangelloch, and, after another stretch through the forest, take a left at a fork onto the forest trail leading to the Hilsbacher Eichelberg Nature Trail.
Various interpretive stations provide information about nature, forestry, and viticulture on the Eichelberg. At the observation deck, we’re rewarded with a magnificent view.
The next section takes us through the vineyards before we pass the Hilsbacher Waldsee and head back to the starting point along shaded forest trails.
