Hillesheim Barefoot Path

The barefoot path is fun and also healthy. Foot massages from gentle to strong almost by passing and a rediscovery of the foot sensation during a walk over the most diverse surfaces are offered by this path. It is 1.5 km long and has 22 stations. Initially, the path leads over various paved surfaces and sandy trails to the lake. Here, after a small cooling off in the water, the stages begin over sea sand, pea gravel, fine grit, coarse gravel, lava sand, tree bark chips, or mulch to the creek bridge. Here you can either go through the gravel ford or over the bridge and then over a log dam, stepping stones, lawn edges, and balance beams. Those who feel like it can then take the climbing path to the limestone cave, and after a meadow stage, you return to the lake, where another cooling off in the water is on the agenda.
