In 2015, this circular hike—just over 70 km long—was completed as a 24-hour hike starting at Calw’s market square. Now, no one has to hike through the night anymore, because we’ve divided the tour into three wonderful day-long stages. As a 3-stage tour, what was once a grueling challenge has now become a joy to hike, and hikers have a little time, in addition to their daily stages, to admire the culture and nature.
Three stages await, each with a very different character, which together make for a fascinating hiking tour with a varied mix of regional landscapes. Experience the transition from the Alb to the Black Forest, from the Heckengäu to the dense forests and Black Forest valleys, and become a hiking expert in the Northern Black Forest!
