Hiking The lake path

A-From the tourist office, go back up the main street for 100 m to the D507 (towards Camboulazet). Follow the road to the railway track. Turn right onto a dirt path descending to the pond up to Carcenac. Follow the lake on the right and emerge onto a small access road.

1-Take the road on the left and always go up to the left towards the D507. At the crossroads, go straight onto the Fieu road and immediately turn left onto a hollow path which, after crossing a wood, joins the road to the Valpillac le Haut farm. Continue left on the road for 350 m then turn left for 100 m. Take another road for 50 m. Turn right onto a farm track to the SNCF bridge.

2-Cross and take left the path joining the RN88. Take straight ahead (be careful) a dirt path leading to Vors (view of the Roman fountain). In the village take left the main street. Always left at the calvary.

3-At the village exit, turn left towards Baraqueville for 300 m then turn right onto the path that goes around the lake to reach Baraqueville. Variant: on the return, possibility to turn left by taking the dam and continue towards the youth center and join the main circuit.
