From the Sonnenalp, we follow the road towards the riding stable in Muderbolz. Upon arrival, we turn left onto a gravel path into the Tiefenberger Moor. We hike along this path until we reach the paved road in Dietrichs. Now we continue towards Untermühlegg. Here we turn left towards Kierwang to then reach the valley station of the gondola in Bolsterlang.
The gondola takes us up to the mountain station. We leisurely hike along the ridge path to Rangiswanger, Sigiswanger, and Ofterschwanger Horns. The panoramic view from the ridge stretches far into the Allgäu and Lechtal Alps. Afterwards, take the chairlift of the World Cup Express down to the valley.
From here, you walk south through the village of Ofterschwang. Once through, a hiking trail leads you to the next village called Wielenberg. Then continue towards the small village of Schweineberg, where there is a mountain cheese dairy and the farm inn Café Mayr. We follow the road to the outskirts of Schweineberg, where we go straight back to the Sonnenalp, our starting point.
