We hike through the gorge "Torrent de Pareis"! From the entrance at Escorca opposite the restaurant down to the sea at Sa Calobra!
P.S. I would be grateful for tips, hints and suggestions! :-)

Please "never" go through the gorge alone. Always at least two people in case help needs to be fetched, since mobile reception down here is not always available.
Do as we did and "team up" with other hikers. This way you can help each other.
Occasionally, red or yellow arrows are painted on the rocks as markers. I find there are still far too few. Sometimes you need to look carefully where to go next. You go over and under truck-sized boulders. Sometimes a daring jump from about 3 meters into a gravel pile is required.
Over time, the rocks have become very smooth and slippery, also due to heavy use by hikers.

Safety information
This route should only be done if you have mountain and climbing experience and good physical condition. You cannot shorten or simply abandon it.
Therefore! Do not underestimate the challenges in the gorge "and" do not overestimate your own abilities.
Please check the current water level online! At http://www.torrentdepareis.info
Very important! It should not have rained in the gorge for at least 10 days, otherwise some passages cannot be crossed due to high water! So you definitely should not do the route then!!
The gorge should "only" be hiked with sturdy hiking shoes with good tread. For sure, for surefootedness.
From personal experience, you should take at least 3, preferably 4 liters of water. Because this route is really strenuous and must not be underestimated. I recommend starting early enough to have enough time. Take one or two breaks.
IMPORTANT!!! Everyone is responsible for their own behavior!!!
Tips and suggestions
At www.serratramuntana.de you also get the GPS tracks of the routes.
As mentioned, reception for mobile phones and GPS devices in the gorge is poor or nonexistent.

Roadbook
Our hike starts directly opposite the Escorca restaurant on the Ma-10, between Sóller and Pollenca at km 25.2. At the beginning, there is an information board in three languages warning about the risks of the gorge. This should definitely be taken seriously.
Right next to the road by the guardrail, the path goes down a rocky trail through a gate to a stone wall. We now follow this to the right. At a break in the wall, our path turns left after a few minutes. Less than 5 minutes later we reach a stone pyramid, where we go left up to a cliff edge. Now the actual descent begins.
On a narrow serpentine-like path, sometimes overgrown with tall "sharp" grass, going downhill. The gorge always in view. It takes about a good hour until we reach the riverbed of the Torrent de Lluc in the valley floor. We follow it to the left. Soon the path demands our full attention because we reach the first steep step which we bypass on the left.
Soon after, we see a rock in the riverbed larger than a truck ahead. This spot is called S`Entreforc. Here the Torrent de Lluc meets the Torrent de Gorg Blau and the watercourse is then called Torrent de Pareis as it continues towards the sea and Sa Calobra.
If you want, you can take a detour from here to a place called "Sa Fosca" (the darkness).
But we now continue on our main path along the Torrent de Pareis. On a fairly well-trodden path, we climb a stony slope on the right to bypass the next "big" rocks in the riverbed.
In the next section, large rocks appear again and again for about an hour, which we must bypass on the left or right or sometimes even go through. Sometimes again over the top, partly sliding down on the "really" smooth rocks. So always be careful!! One or two times you have to take a daring jump from about three meters into a gravel pile. You will see smaller and larger pools scooped out by the water with small stones (see pictures).
On the right side ahead, we soon see a large cave shaped like a bottle, the "Clot de l’Infern". From here it takes another good hour to Sa Calobra.
The gorge narrows again. A prominent boulder blocks our path once more. This difficult spot must be overcome on the right side through a rather narrow groove and several footholds. Barely recovered from this, the next obstacle awaits. On the left side of the gorge, there is a steep drop that must be climbed. Sometimes with rope. It is "always" advantageous to carry your own rope of about 10 to 15 meters, because at crucial points there are often hooks and eyes, sometimes with carabiners, but no rope.
Immediately afterwards, large boulders again block the way. These are also bypassed on the left by sliding down them, resembling a huge ball. Now we have the most difficult sections behind us and soon reach the dripping spring "Font des Degotis" on the right side!
Fig trees slowly and surely appear, indicating the approaching gorge exit. Once more, we must overcome a last obstacle in front of a large water pool. For this, we must climb through a passage that resembles a tunnel and is covered with bushes.
About 15 minutes later, we reach a narrow pebble beach. Usually many people lie on the beach here. This area is barely more than 30 meters wide and there are scattered yachts in the bay. We now keep to the left to go through the tunnels that lead us to Sa Calobra.
There are "no" overnight accommodations in the village. Only some restaurants to get food. In the afternoon, a ship usually goes to Soller or there are buses. Otherwise, you have to call a taxi or like us, be picked up by family.
Public transport
The last bus departs Sa Calobra at 3 pm. The last ferry to Soller around 4:30 pm, and that only if the weather cooperates and the sea is easy to navigate.
So better check in advance if and when something runs.
Otherwise, you have to call a taxi which can take a while. The serpentine road to Sa Calobra is impressive.
Or... maybe someone will give you a ride from there. Just ask. ;-)
Since not everyone wanted to do this hike with us, we first got picked up at the start and later again in Sa Calobra.
Parking
You can park at the top near the Escorca restaurant. But parking spaces are quite limited. So it makes sense to be there early enough.
Or a paid parking lot down in Sa Calobra if you want to do the route in the other direction.
But I would rather not recommend that, as the route upwards is even more strenuous!

Equipment
Sturdy footwear! Better not normal sports shoes. Weather-appropriate clothing. Even if it is still warm at the top, parts of the gorge can be quite cool.
As described above, 3 to 4 liters of water are a "MUST"!
Since metal eyelets and hooks have been driven into the rock at some points, I recommend - since not always present - taking your own rope in your backpack. Definitely 10 to 15 meters long. I needed it.
