The hike through the Granitz starts at the Haus des Gastes in Binz. It leads along Heinrich-Heine-Straße through a park to the beach, past a fish smokehouse into the Southeast Rügen Biosphere Reserve. Via hollow ways and the Devil's Gorge path, you reach Kreuzeiche, then continue to Schwarzer See with a detour to the shore. The high shore path along the cliff coast offers breathtaking Baltic Sea views to Sellin, where you pass the pier, spa park, and spa administration. Afterwards, the route leads on forest paths to the fork Am Ochsenberg, then to the hamlet Blieschow and to Jagdschloss Granitz. After visiting and resting in the beer garden, it goes back via forest paths, waterworks and sports field, finally via Klünderberg hiking parking lot and the street by the hospital back to the starting point. The tour combines Baltic Sea, cliff coast, mixed forest, and historical highlights into an impressive circular route.
