Hike - panoramic high route

From the hotel, turn right immediately after the pizzeria, pass Haus Waldeck, and take the path through the forest up to the Höhenweg/Zeitweg. Follow the "sich zitlong-Weg" downhill towards the national border. At Hotel Bergblick, the alpine path leads right up towards Klösterle, then onwards to Stillberg, and along a good alpine path to Alpe Spicherhalde. Enjoy the fantastic panoramic view there over the main ridge of the Allgäu, the Austrian and Swiss mountain peaks including Säntis and Altmann. Continue down the road back to Balderschwang, passing the old yew tree until you reach Hotel HUBERTUS.
