The hike into the Moosalbtal takes you into a varied landscape – from shady forest passages over open orchards to near-natural brook flows. From Ettlingen, the path leads uphill through the beautiful Krebsbachklinge before you hike through orchard meadows and enjoy splendid views of the surrounding area in places.

Behind Schöllbronn, the path goes down shady trails into the romantic Moosalbtal, where the river of the same name accompanies your way. The route follows the idyllic Moosalb and passes culturally and historically shaped wet meadows – testimonies of centuries-old cultivation and valuable habitats for plants and animals.

Along the route, viewpoints, peaceful spots by the water, and near-natural forest paths invite you to take breaks again and again before it goes up the Windwiesenklinge to the Spessart forest adventure trail and then over the height back into the valley.
