All around the southern tip of Djursland

On our hike, we explore the entire southern tip of this small peninsula, which is connected to Mols and the mainland in the north only by a narrow strip of land. Along the way, we occasionally have to look back to not miss the postcard view of the lighthouse erected at the end of the peninsula's land strip. We can also reach heights of almost 100 m above sea level here and enjoy the panoramic view from Kalø Bay to Ebeltoft Bay.

From the parking lot at Sletterhage Fyr, we go over the pebble beach to the water and then left past the lighthouse. We walk along the beach towards the steep cliff rising ahead of us. Red wooden signs to Tyskertårnet and yellow dots show us the way. After a long stretch on the pebble beach, we follow the sign "Tyskertårnet" uphill to the left. After some steps, we go right at a junction and soon reach the bunker, from whose roof we have an impressive view. From the tower we continue right on a path running parallel to the coast, soon along the fairly steeply sloping coast. Finally, we reach the viewing point Bursklint and look out over the eastern tip of Helgenæs to Ebeltoft Bay. With the yellow dot, continue straight ahead. In a shallow hollow, we reach a junction to the right (sign "Lyshage" straight ahead) and follow it on a narrow path, finally pathless down to the bay. Below, we pass a small peninsula and continue following the posts with yellow markings uphill again. At the top,

Profile picture of Dorothee Sänger, Michael Gahr Author Dorothee Sänger, Michael Gahr
